Created about 150 years ago, Pilates combines yoga, breathing and ballet to strengthen the core muscles.  Pilates is done at a faster pace than Yoga and there are more strength oriented poses.  There are also fast toning and weight loss results when we practice Pilates.  For now we ask that everyone bring their own Balance Ball.
