· Encourage your daughter (or your mom) to move and exercise.  You will both be healthier.

· Most of the class is composed of partner poses which can bring you closer and teach you to trust each other.

· For those who do not want traditional Yoga, this class offers fast movement and a more creative feel.

Yoga for Girls 6+ and Their Moms

Mother/Daughter Yoga is a perfect opportunity for girls between the ages of 6-10 to bond with their mothers.  Imagination and fun rule as both the mothers and daughters pretend to be the different things that we find in nature.  Then we move onto partner games in which the daughters and mothers get to join forces and help each other enjoy exercise.  At the end of each class we finish with a visualization exercise in which we picture ourselves on an adventure and through our experiences we become more aware of our bodies and senses.  All in all, Mother/Daughter Yoga is a perfect way for both mothers and daughters to exercise while having fun.
